Memory- the treasure that is solely yours.
There are some parts of your life, which only once has passed, do you realise how amazing it was.
However, there are also some parts of life, which make you regret it; maybe what you said or did, or maybe what happened to you or around you.
If given a chance, you would either like to live that memory again, or maybe set it upright by changing it. Only if.
Well, this is something that puzzles me at times, and is sort of irritating.
It consumes so much time, either by repetitive thinking of the great moments you had, or by regretting all the things that shook you in the past.
It is human nature to do so. But every human is different, and they have their own ways to deal with it.
Some might find it easy to let go, some might find it difficult, and to some, it may just seem a thought which distracts them for a moment or so, and then it just flushes away.
There are times, even when recalling great moments, you'd want to change some things in the past, which would make the moment even better. you think of various things you could have said or done to make it happen so.
i am just sixteen, with very little experience of such things. Though, i can very well relate.
i miss school. People i used to meet throughout this period were the only reason for me to do what ever i did. We've all been through fights, bitching, misunderstandings, forgiving, pleasing each other, staying true, helping, loving, having fun and numerous things that will be not enough to mention right now. Like each one of you.
And now that i am not able to spend as much time with them, as much i used to, the thoughts that i mention above won't leave me.
You see, these memories, that you preserve, good or bad, make you who you are. There will always be some bad in good, and some good in all that is bad.
You can not change what has passed. nor do you consciously have the control to what happens in the future. It is present that matters. and so, again in the future, your present will become the past, and you would cherish or regret the moment based on the things that happen after the actions you perform. It is an on going cycle, if you understand what i mean to say.
These memories, the way you deal with it matters very much.
It wont be right to cry over the bad ones, nor will it be okay to let go of them easily.
You should realise, that these memories are your experiences, and the way you mould these experiences, will determine if you have changed to a better person. After all, its human nature to turn from good to better in all cases. All you have to be for that to happen, is to be balanced.
i have a great treasure of memories, good and bad, both. And the best part is... when ever i am bored and have nothing to do, or when i am tired of doing all the things i do, i just lay back and think. And then you can see either creases upon my forehead, or a casual smile that appears from nowhere. :)
